Google Drive Toolkit

The Google Drive Toolkit is a workflow node. Its tools include List Files, Search Files, Get File Details, and Upload File, plus 4 more listed below. Connect a Google Drive account before you use any of these tools. Type @ in a field when the value should come from an earlier step.

Authentication

Every Google Drive tool needs a connected account before it can run. On the node, open Google Drive Account.

1. Choose Use my Google Drive account or Use team account.
2. If no personal account is connected, click Connect Google Drive Account and finish sign-in.
3. For a team account, choose Use team account and pick one from Team account. The list shows accounts already connected for the project.

Tools

List Files

Lists files.

Field	Required	Description
Google Drive Account	Yes	Select your personal or team Google Drive account.
Folder ID	No	Folder ID to list files from (default: root). Default is root. Type @ to select a variable.
Page Size	No	Number of files to return (max: 100). Default is 20.
Order By	No	Sort order (e.g., 'name', 'modifiedTime desc', 'createdTime desc'). Default is modifiedTime desc. Type @ to select a variable.
Include Trashed	No	Whether to include files in trash. Default is false.

Search Files

Searches files.

Field	Required	Description
Google Drive Account	Yes	Select your personal or team Google Drive account.
Query	Yes	Search query (e.g., 'name contains "report"', 'mimeType contains "pdf"'). Type @ to select a variable.
Page Size	No	Number of files to return (max: 100). Default is 20.
Order By	No	Sort order. Default is modifiedTime desc. Type @ to select a variable.

Get File Details

Retrieves file details.

Field	Required	Description
Google Drive Account	Yes	Select your personal or team Google Drive account.
File ID	Yes	Google Drive file ID. Type @ to select a variable.

Upload File

Uploads file.

Field	Required	Description
Google Drive Account	Yes	Select your personal or team Google Drive account.
Filename	Yes	Name of the file to upload. Type @ to select a variable.
Content	Yes	File content (base64 encoded for binary files). Type @ to select a variable.
Parent Folder ID	No	Parent folder ID (default: root). Default is root. Type @ to select a variable.
Mime Type	No	MIME type of the file. Default is text/plain. Type @ to select a variable.

Create Folder

Creates folder.

Folder Name	Yes	Name of the folder to create. Type @ to select a variable.
Parent Folder ID	No	Parent folder ID (default: root). Default is root. Type @ to select a variable.

Move Copy Files

Runs the move copy files tool.

Field	Required	Description
Google Drive Account	Yes	Select your personal or team Google Drive account.
File ID	Yes	Google Drive file ID. Type @ to select a variable.
Destination Folder ID	Yes	Destination folder ID. Type @ to select a variable.
Operation	No	Operation: 'copy' or 'move'. Default is copy. Type @ to select a variable.

Delete Files

Deletes files.

Field	Required	Description
Google Drive Account	Yes	Select your personal or team Google Drive account.
File ID	Yes	Google Drive file ID. Type @ to select a variable.
Permanent	No	Whether to permanently delete (skip trash). Default is false.

Download File Content

Downloads file content.

Field	Required	Description
Google Drive Account	Yes	Select your personal or team Google Drive account.
File ID	Yes	Google Drive file ID. Type @ to select a variable.
Max Tokens	No	Maximum tokens to download (default: 20000, ~80KB). Default is 20000.
Export Mime Type	No	MIME type for Google Workspace file export (e.g., 'text/plain', 'application/pdf'). Default is null. Type @ to select a variable.
Acknowledge Abuse	No	Acknowledge risk of downloading potentially malicious files. Default is false.
