Project Summary
The Project Summary gives you a single read-only view of how a project is configured. It shows the agents, workflows, knowledge, smart tables, interfaces and toolkits in the project, and how they connect: which agent starts a conversation, who hands work to whom, and which workflows call which agents.
The summary describes the saved configuration only. It is not a live execution report, so it does not show runs, chats or results.
Open the Project Summary
- Select the project name at the top of the sidebar to open the project menu.
- Choose Project summary.
The summary opens in a panel on the right side of the screen. Close it with the X in the top corner.
Who can see it
The Project summary option appears for:
- The project owner.
- A member whose role grants view or edit access to all of these sections: Agents, Knowledge Base, Flows, Actions, Interfaces and Settings, with no restriction to specific agents.
Members with partial roles, interface-only members and pending invitees do not see the option. The summary describes the whole project, so it is only shown to people who can already see all of it.
What the summary shows
The top of the panel shows the project name and its description. If the project has no description yet, the panel says so. Below that, four tabs organize the content.
Project flow
A diagram of how work moves through the project, in the order a request travels:
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Agent routing | The agents that receive and hand off work. The project's default agent is marked Starts here, and each hand-off shows which agent it comes from. |
| Workflows | Each workflow in turn, with its steps, the branches it can take, and the agents or other workflows it calls. |
Wide rows scroll sideways. The flow shows the first 60 items; the Agents and Workflows tabs list everything.
Agents
One card per agent with its role, and counts of its toolkits, workflows and hand-offs. Select a card to see the toolkits, tables and connections attached to that agent.
Workflows
One card per workflow. Select a card to open its steps. Draft workflows and disabled steps are labelled so you can tell what is live.
Toolkits & data
Everything the agents and workflows draw on:
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Knowledge Base recap | Number of files and folders, saved words, characters and storage, plus a breakdown by file type and by status such as synced, syncing and failed. |
| Smart Tables | Each table's name, its columns, its row count, and how many cells are filled in per column. A table too large to count quickly shows Too large to count instead of a row count. |
| Interfaces | The interfaces saved in the project. |
| Toolkits | The toolkits configured for the project's agents, with the tools enabled in each. |
Select any card to open its details.
What is not shown
The summary is built from names, structure and counts. It never shows:
- The contents of knowledge base documents. Only the ten most recent file names are listed, and a file that came from a web address shows only the site and path, never anything after a
?. - Smart table row values. Only counts are shown.
- Credentials. Text that looks like a key, token or password is replaced with
[redacted].
Keeping it up to date
The summary is built from the project's current configuration each time it is opened. Changes such as a new agent, workflow, document or interface appear the next time you open it.
For performance, results are cached briefly. Smart table row counts can take up to two minutes to update, and some knowledge base changes, such as a document's status, can take a couple of minutes to appear.
Limits
For very large projects the summary caps what it lists:
| Item | Maximum shown |
|---|---|
| Agents | 100 |
| Workflows | 200 |
| Smart tables | 100 |
| Interfaces | 100 |
| Columns per smart table | 20 |
| Recent knowledge base documents | 10 |
| Items drawn in the diagram | 1,000 |
If a project has more than 1,000 items, the panel keeps entry points, agents, workflows, interfaces, tables and knowledge first and leaves out agent toolkits first. A notice names what is not shown.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Project summary is missing from the project menu | Your role may not cover every section. Ask a project admin to review your role, or check that you have accepted your invitation. |
| The panel shows Summary unavailable | Select Try again. If it keeps failing, confirm you still have access to the project. |
| Part of the summary looks incomplete | A data source may have taken too long to load. Close the panel and open it again. |
