New Relic Toolkit
The New Relic Toolkit is a workflow node. Its tools include Newrelic Run Nrql Query, Newrelic List Entities, Newrelic Get Entity Details, and Newrelic List Alert Policies, plus 2 more listed below. Create a connection before you use any of these tools. Type @ in a field when the value should come from an earlier step.
Authentication
Create a New Relic connection before you use any of these tools. Set it up on the first New Relic node.
- On the node, open Connection.
- Click + New.
- Enter a Connection Name.
- Paste your New Relic user API key into API Key.
- Account ID is optional.
- Select the new connection in Select saved connection.
Enter token manually saves the same credentials on that node instead of a saved connection.

Newrelic Run Nrql Query
Runs the newrelic run nrql query tool.

Newrelic List Entities
Runs the newrelic list entities tool.

| Query | No | Search query string to filter entities by name or tags. Example: "name LIKE 'checkout'" or "type = 'APPLICATION'". Default is null. Type @ to select a variable. |
| Entity Type | No | Filter by entity type: APPLICATION, HOST, MONITOR, BROWSER_APPLICATION, MOBILE_APPLICATION, WORKLOAD, DASHBOARD, etc. Default is null. Type @ to select a variable. |
| Limit | No | Maximum number of entities to return (default 25, max 200). Default is 25. |
Newrelic Get Entity Details
Runs the newrelic get entity details tool.
