Platform Settings

Platform Settings is where a Super Admin sets defaults that apply across the EKB instance. Each section has its own save button. A change is stored when you save that section.

Open Super Admin, then Platform & integrations, then Platform Settings. The page has a Settings tab. When settings audit is enabled for the deployment, an Audit Log tab lists setting changes.

Prerequisites

  • You are a Super Admin. See RBAC.

Agent Creation Assistant

Set the Agent Creator Project ID. That project tracks messages sent to the agent that helps users create custom agents from templates.

Select Save Settings.

Autopilot Workflow Default

Default new Autopilot workflows to Workflows v3 chooses the builder for workflows created with Autopilot.

  • On: new Autopilot workflows open in Python/code mode (Workflows v3).
  • Off: new Autopilot workflows open in the Workflows v2 visual builder.

Creating a workflow manually stays on the Workflows v2 visual builder.

Select Save Workflow Default.

PII Settings

Enable PII turns on platform-wide PII masking.

  • On: the platform entity list applies in every project, and the project-level Mask PII control is hidden.
  • Off: a project can turn Mask PII on and use its own entity list. Projects that have not saved their own list use the platform configuration.

PII Entity Types chooses which types are detected and masked. Types you leave unselected are ignored. Select all and Unselect all change the whole list. An empty list means "use the platform default," not "mask nothing." To stop masking, turn Enable PII off.

  • Mask inside code blocks also masks PII inside fenced code blocks. Default is off.
  • Strict mode aborts an LLM call when PII is still detected after masking. Default is off.

Save PII Entity Config stores the entity list and those two switches. Save PII Setting stores Enable PII.

Credits Model

Credits Model sets how token spend converts to credits.

ModelRate
v1 (Legacy)$0.01 per credit ($1 = 100 credits). Pricing from before June 5.
v2 (Current)$0.001 per credit ($1 = 1,000 credits). Pricing from June 5 onward.

Select Save Credits Model.

Debug Prompt Visibility

Hide system prompt in Debug Prompt hides the system prompt in the Debug Prompt panel for every project. Project toggles for this are disabled while it is on. Prompt execution and storage stay the same. Only the display changes.

Select Save Setting.

Debug Prompt Panel Visibility

Hide entire Debug Prompt panel removes the Debug Prompt panel for every project, including the rest of the debug trace. This overrides team and project toggles. It is separate from hiding only the system prompt.

Select Save Setting.

Free User Project Limits

These limits apply to users who are not in a team.

  • Max Number of Projects is the number of personal projects a free user can create. Default is 5. The minimum is 1.
  • Enable project invitations for free users allows those users to send project invitations.

Select Save Settings.

File Upload Limits

Knowledge Base uploads that exceed these limits are rejected.

SettingDefault
Max File Size Allowed (MB)200 MB
Max File Pages Allowed1,000 pages. This page limit applies to PDFs.

Select Save File Upload Limits.

Schedule Trigger Limits

Minimum Schedule Interval (Minutes) is the shortest interval a Schedule Trigger can use when a workflow is published. A workflow that fires more often than this limit fails to publish.

  • Default is 5 minutes.
  • 0 disables the cap. The field then shows cap disabled.
  • The maximum is 1,440 minutes (1 day).

Select Save Schedule Trigger Limits.

Single Session Enforcement

Enforce one active session per account limits an account to one active session. The newest login revokes the user's other sessions. Other devices are signed out when their access token expires. Login source IPs are recorded for audit whether this is on or off.

Subnet tolerance treats the same /24 IPv4 network, or /64 IPv6 network, as one location for the informational "IP changed" audit signal. It reduces noise from mobile networks. It does not block a login.

Select Save Session Settings.

Extraction Settings

These values are copied onto a project when the project is created.

Session Idle Timeout

Idle Timeout (minutes) is how long the frontend can sit idle before the user is signed out.

  • A number, such as 15, signs the user out after that many idle minutes.
  • 0 disables the idle timeout.
  • Blank uses the deployment default, VITE_SESSION_IDLE_TIMEOUT_MINUTES.

The card shows whether the current value comes from this override or from that environment variable. Open tabs pick up a saved change the next time the app loads.

Select Save Session Idle Timeout.

Iframe Embedding

This section controls what EKB renders when another site frames it. The list of sites allowed to frame EKB is the deploy-time FRAME_ANCESTORS header. Changing that list still requires a restart. The settings on this card apply on the next page load.

Allow framed rendering, when off, refuses to render in any iframe, even if FRAME_ANCESTORS would allow the site.

Embeddable surfaces is a comma-separated list, shown only while framed rendering is on.

Recognised names:

  • interface
  • app_mode
  • forms
  • automator_forms
  • chatbot

A blank list allows all of them. Any other name is ignored. A list that contains no recognised name embeds nothing.

Including interface permits published interfaces as a group. Each interface still has to be opted in from its own publish settings.

Select Save Embedding Settings.

Account Inactivity Auto-Disable

Enable auto-disable disables an account after it has not logged in for the number of days in Disable after (days). Turning the switch on sets that value to 30. Turning it off clears the value.

The check runs once a day. A disabled account needs Super Admin approval before it can sign in again. Approve it under Users, Pending Re-enable. See Users.

Select Save Settings.

Team Invitations

Default Invite Link Expiry (days) is how long the link in a team invitation email stays valid. The default is 14 days. Allowed values are 1 to 90.

A team admin can set a different expiry for their team in Team Settings. A link that was already sent keeps the expiry it was issued with.

Select Save Invitation Settings.

Current Settings

Current Settings lists the stored platform settings. Each row shows the setting name, description, type, whether it is active, and the current value.
