File Helpers Toolkit
The File Helpers Toolkit is a workflow node. Its tools include Save Base64 File, Read File, Change File Encoding, and Check File Type. These tools run in the workflow and do not use a third-party account. Type @ in a field when the value should come from an earlier step.
Authentication
File Helpers tools do not use a connected third-party account. Add the node to the workflow and set the fields on the tool.
Tools
Save Base64 File
Runs the save base64 file tool.

| Mime Type | No | MIME type of the file. Default is application/octet-stream. Type @ to select a variable. |
| File Name | No | Optional filename for the saved file (e.g., 'report.pdf'). If omitted, a name is auto-generated from the MIME type. Default is ``. Type @ to select a variable. |
Read File
Reads file.

Change File Encoding
Runs the change file encoding tool.

| Source Encoding | No | Current encoding of the file (e.g., utf-8, latin-1, ascii, utf-16, iso-8859-1). Default is utf-8. Type @ to select a variable. |
| Output Encoding | No | Target encoding for the output file (e.g., utf-8, latin-1, ascii, utf-16, iso-8859-1). Default is utf-8. Type @ to select a variable. |
| Output File Name | No | Name for the output file (optional, defaults to original name with encoding suffix). Default is ``. Type @ to select a variable. |
Check File Type
Runs the check file type tool.
