Azure DevOps Toolkit

The Azure DevOps Toolkit is a workflow node. Its tools include List Projects, Get Project, Search Work Items, Get Work Item, plus 9 more listed below. Create a connection before you use any of these tools. Type @ in a field when the value should come from an earlier step.

Authentication

Create an Azure DevOps connection before you use any of these tools.

Create a personal access token

  1. In Azure DevOps, open User settings, then Personal access tokens, then New Token.
  2. Grant Work Items (Read), Code (Read), Project and Team (Read), and Analytics (Read).
  3. Copy the token. Azure DevOps shows it only once.

Connect the token in EKB

  1. On the first Azure DevOps node, open Connection.
  2. Click + New.
  3. Enter a Connection Name.
  4. Paste the Personal Access Token (PAT).
  5. Enter the Organization name, such as my-company, or the full URL https://dev.azure.com/my-company.
  6. Select the new connection in Select saved connection.

Enter token manually saves the same credentials on that node instead of a saved connection.
