Microsoft Teams Toolkit

The Microsoft Teams Toolkit is a workflow node. Its tools include Get Me, List Teams, List Team Channels, and Create Channel, plus 17 more listed below. Connect a Microsoft Teams account before you use any of these tools. Type @ in a field when the value should come from an earlier step.

Authentication

Every Microsoft Teams tool needs a connected account before it can run. On the node, open Microsoft Teams Account.

1. Choose Use my Microsoft Teams account or Use team account.
2. If no personal account is connected, click Connect Microsoft Teams Account and finish sign-in.
3. For a team account, choose Use team account and pick one from Team account. The list shows accounts already connected for the project.

List Teams

Lists teams.

Filter	No	Optional filter string to search teams by display name. Default is null. Type @ to select a variable.

List Team Channels

Lists team channels.

Team ID	Yes	The ID of the team to list channels for. Type @ to select a variable.
Filter	No	Optional filter string to search channels by display name. Default is null. Type @ to select a variable.

Create Channel

Creates channel.

Field	Required	Description
Microsoft Teams Account	Yes	Select your personal or team Microsoft Teams account.
Team ID	Yes	The ID of the team to create the channel in. Type @ to select a variable.
Display Name	Yes	The display name of the new channel. Type @ to select a variable.
Description	No	Optional description for the channel. Default is null. Type @ to select a variable.
Membership Type	No	Channel membership type: 'standard' (default), 'private', or 'shared'. Default is standard. Type @ to select a variable.

Send Channel Message

Sends channel message.

Field	Required	Description

Team ID	Yes	The ID of the team containing the channel. Type @ to select a variable.
Channel ID	Yes	The ID of the channel to send the message to. Type @ to select a variable.
Message	Yes	The message content to send (supports HTML formatting). Type @ to select a variable.
Content Type	No	Content type: 'text' (default) or 'html'. Default is text. Type @ to select a variable.

List Team Members

Lists team members.

List Users

Lists users.

Get User By Email

List Chats

Lists chats.

Field	Required	Description

Top	No	Maximum number of chats to return. Default is 50.

Create Chat

Creates chat.

Field	Required	Description
Microsoft Teams Account	Yes	Select your personal or team Microsoft Teams account.
User Ids	Yes	Comma-separated list of user IDs to create a chat with. Type @ to select a variable.
Chat Type	No	Chat type: 'oneOnOne' (default for 1 user) or 'group' (for multiple users). Default is oneOnOne. Type @ to select a variable.
Topic	No	Optional topic for group chats. Default is null. Type @ to select a variable.

Send Chat Message

Sends chat message.

Send Direct Message

Get Channel Messages

Retrieves channel messages.

Channel ID	Yes	The ID of the channel to get messages from. Type @ to select a variable.
Top	No	Maximum number of messages to return. Default is 20.

List Meetings

Lists meetings.

Field	Required	Description
Microsoft Teams Account	Yes	Select your personal or team Microsoft Teams account.
Top	No	Maximum number of meetings to return. Default is 25.
Start Date	No	Start of date range in ISO 8601 format (default: 30 days ago). Type @ to select a variable.
End Date	No	End of date range in ISO 8601 format (default: 30 days from now). Type @ to select a variable.

Get Meeting
